Sens lose in the battle of the big guys of the North-East division

It’s been fun times recently in Ottawa for the Senators, with the likes of fans’ favourite Daniel Alfredsson enjoying playing in front of a vocal home crowd at the entertaining All-Star game in the city, even though his team actually lost in the end, but one franchise has managed to bring them back down to earth with a bump, the Boston Bruins beating the Sens to top the table in the North-East.

The Bruins are, for those looking to bet on hockey, the previous winners of the Stanley Cup, and should be there or there abouts at the end of the regular season this time around, so the Sens were in effect handed a great opportunity to test out their skills and ability as a team to see how they compare at this stage of the season.

If the Sens had managed to pull off a famous win, they’d have gained a whole load of self-belief that this year they might just be able to sneak into the play-offs, causing a shock or two along the way against top teams. Now, though, finding themselves once again defeated by the Bruins, they must be starting to develop a real complex that they are incapable of pulling off wins against teams that they know provide a stern challenge on the ice for the duration of the game time.

Ultimately, though, the Sens are still within touching distance of stealing the top spot in the North-East division from the Bruins, something which puts them amongst the best NHL betting tips, which would of course hand them a pretty nice start to the play-offs, something that no franchise can afford to turn down!
