Ana Ivanovich In Good Form!

Ana Ivanovich has recently bee enjoying some good form with her leading her country into the final of the fed cup, and it seems that this form might just be down to having a stable coach in here camp.
The Serb and former Wimbledon champions has shuffled her coaches more than David Blaine has shuffled a pack of cards, as she looks to find the right coach to work with, and she might have finally found the right man.

The way she has chopped and changed so much will give people the impression that she might be a diva, that she is emotional, impulsive and hard to work with. But if she knows that a person isn’t right for her, then she is within here right to be professional and to get the best team around her to help her perform.

Nigel Sears is now her coach and the partnership that began last summer is bearing fruit, with Ivanovic this month reaching her highest ranking in three years and recently ending Jenlena Jankovic’s four-year reign as the top-ranked Serbian woman.

One of Ivanovic’s goals this year is to qualify for the year-end championships in Istanbul, and she currently sits a respectable 11th. The progress suggests Ivanovic might once again seriously contend for a Grand Slam title, with both the French Open and Wimbledon tournaments coming up! Ivanovic lifted the trophy at Roland Garros four years ago, only for injuries and a loss of confidence to ruin the rest of 2008 and lead to more woe.

She will be feeling confident of where her game is at the moment, and she has had a consistent year, if she continues to work hard, she could well climb the rankings and be on course for a grand slam title this summer!
